Cyclones Host “Education In Hockey Day”

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that more than 3,500 students from 27 schools in 17 cities in Ohio and Kentucky are expected to attend the first-ever “Education In Hockey Day” when the Cyclones host the Johnstown Chiefs at 10:30 a.m. on Mar. 27 at U.S. Bank Arena.

The arena video boards will air various segments during the game including the making of ice at the arena, the operation of the Zamboni, mathematics in compiling statistics, physical education as it relates to hockey and geography with the team’s travel and players’ hometowns.

The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.
