Daigneault Reassigned From Hershey To Stingrays

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that goaltender Maxime Daigneault has been reassigned from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League to the Stingrays.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Bears of the AHL and the Washington Capitals of the NHL.

Selected in the second round (59th overall) by Washington in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Capitals, the 22-year-old is 0-1-2 with goals against of 2.21 and a save percentage of .909 in three games with Hershey and is 13-10-7 with a shutout, goals against of 3.15 and a save percentage of .905 in 31 games with South Carolina.
