Dallas Reassigns Crombeen To Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League have reassigned right wing B.J. Crombeen to Idaho.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of Dallas of the NHL and the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the second round (54th overall) by Dallas in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the NHL Stars, the 21-year-old began the season in Finnish Elite League where he had 22 points (13g-9a) and 152 penalty minutes in 55 games with Assat.

In his rookie season in 2005-06, the 6-foot-2 and 212-pound Crombeen had eight points (5g-3a) and five penalty minutes in eight games with Idaho and 12 points (5g-7a) and 97 penalty minutes in 52 regular season games and one goal and nine penalty minutes in five playoff games for Iowa.
