Dallas Reassigns Wathier From Iowa To Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Francis Wathier from the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League to the Steelheads.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of Dallas of the NHL and Iowa of the AHL.

Selected in the sixth round (185th overall) by Dallas in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Stars, the 22-year-old has 13 points (4g-9a) and 31 penalty minutes in 17 regular season games with the Steelheads and 17 points (14g-3a) and 78 penalty minutes in 57 regular season games and four assists and 25 penalty minutes in 12 playoff games for Iowa.
