Kirk Daubenspeck picked up his 32nd win of the season with a 5-4 win at Augusta on Saturday breaking the South Carolina record for most wins in a season by a goaltender held by Sean Gauthier, who won 31 games in 1995-96. The East Coast Hockey League record for most wins is held by Mark Michaud, who won 38 games for Hampton Roads in 1993-94.

Born in Madison, Wis., Daubenspeck has faced 1,707 shots, breaking the team record of 1,671 set by Jody Lehman in 1999-2000, and has made 1,556 saves, breaking the team record of 1,502 set by Lehman in 1999-2000. The ECHL record for most saves is 1,831 by Michaud with Hampton Roads in 1993-94.

Selected in the seventh round (151st overall) by Philadelphia in the 1992 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Daubenspeck has started 51 of the Stingrays 60 games and has played 3,020 minutes. The team record for most appearances is 57 while the team record for minutes played is 3,284, both set by Lehman in 1999-2000. The ECHL record for most appearances is 65 while the record for most minutes is 3,723, both set by Michaud with Hampton Roads in 1993-94.
