Dayton Signs Goaltender Naumenko

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they have signed veteran goaltender Gregg Naumenko.

In 2004-05 with South Carolina of the ECHL, the 28-year-old Naumenko was 2-1-1 with a goals-against average of 3.25 and a save percentage of .904 in five regular season games and was 1-1 with a goals-against average of 4.21 and a save percentage of .900 in two Kelly Cup Playoff games.

Naumenko was 14-3-5 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.58 and a save percentage of .910 in 23 games with Dayton in 2001-02 while also playing 10 games for Augusta and seven games in the American Hockey League with Cincinnati.

In four seasons in the ECHL, Naumenko is 35-26-15 with a goals-against average of 3.17 and a save percentage of .903 in 83 regular season games.

In six seasons as a professional, Naumenko is 75-72-26 with six shutouts, a goals-against average of 3.09 and a save percentage of .903 in 129 regular season games, including two games with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 2000-01.
