Desbiens, Milam, Tarkki Called Up To Wolves
Gladiators Sign Bennett

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that All-Star defenseman Troy Milam, All-Star rookie right wing Guillaume Desbiens and rookie goaltender Tuomas Tarkki have been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League and that the Gladiators have signed left wing Josh Bennett.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Wolves of the AHL.

Signed by the Wolves on Jan. 12, the 25-year-old Tarkki is 4-2-1 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.83 and a save percentage of .910 in seven games with Gwinnett and 6-3-3 with a goals-against average of 3.08 and a save percentage of .892 in 15 games with Chicago.
