Deslauriers Recalled To Edmonton

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl have announced that rookie goaltender Jeff Deslauriers has been recalled to Edmonton of the American Hockey League. Greenville is the ECHL affiliate of Edmonton of the AHL and Edmonton of the National Hockey League.

Under contract to Edmonton of the NHL, the 6-4 and 195-pound Deslauriers was 7-1-1 with a goals-against average of 1.62 and a save percentage of .957 in nine games with the Grrrowl.

Selected in the second round (31st overall) by Edmonton in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Deslauriers is 4-7-1 with a goals-against average of 2.86 and a save percentage of .889 in 12 games with Edmonton of the AHL.
