LOVELAND, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles of the ECHL announced today that forward Jack Combs has signed a PTO with the Worcester Sharks of the AHL.
Combs is currently the ECHL’s leading scorer, recording 37 points (17g-20a) through the season’s first 23 games. He also ranks among the league’s leaders in goals (2nd), assists (3rd), game-winning goals (T-2nd) and shorthanded goals (T-2nd).
This will be the 6-foot, 215-pound forward’s third stint in the AHL, where he’s totaled one assist in six games. In 2009-10, Combs played three games with the Peoria Rivermen, and in 2010-11, he spent three games with the Chicago Wolves.
