ECHL announces fine, suspensions
PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fine and suspensions.
San Francisco’s Clendenning suspended
San Francisco’s Jordan Clendenning has been suspended for one game under Rule #23.7 as a result of incurring three game misconducts under the fisticuffs category.
Clendenning will miss San Francisco’s game vs. Stockton today (Feb. 17).
Colorado’s Kaunisto fined, suspended
Colorado’s Ray Kaunisto has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #605, Colorado at Bakersfield, on Feb. 16.
Kaunisto is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline for his actions at 15:19 of the second period.
Kaunisto will miss Colorado’s game at Ontario today (Feb. 17).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
