ECHL Announces Fines

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines.

 
Elmira’s Mirasty Fined
 

Elmira’s Jon Mirasty has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #286, Elmira at Kalamazoo, on Dec. 31.

 

Mirasty was assessed a major penalty for charging at 19:10 of the third period and is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 
 

Kalamazoo’s Taylor Fined

 

Kalamazoo’s Justin Taylor has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #286, Elmira at Kalamazoo, on Dec. 31.

 

Taylor was assessed a game misconduct for unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of the first period and is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
