ECHL announces fines, suspension
PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.
Fort Wayne’s Maggio fined, suspended
Fort Wayne’s Daniel Maggio has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #151, Toledo at Fort Wayne, on Nov. 16.
Maggio was assessed major penalty and game misconduct for cross checking under Rule #59.5 at 15:04 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Maggio will miss Fort Wayne’s game against Evansville tonight.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Trenton’s Wilson fined
Trenton’s Kelsey Wilson has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #150, Trenton at Elmira, on Nov. 16.
Wilson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing under Rule #62.5 at 4:34 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
