ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

 

Las Vegas’ Collins Fined, Suspended

 

Las Vegas’ Greg Collins has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #471, Victoria at Las Vegas, on Feb. 13.

 

Collins is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Collins will miss Las Vegas’ game at Utah on Feb. 18.

 

Victoria’s Kraus Fined, Suspended

 

Victoria’s Tim Kraus has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #471, Victoria at Las Vegas, on Feb. 13.

 

Kraus was assessed a spearing major and game misconduct under Rule #62.5 at 18:54 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Kraus will miss Victoria’s game at Bakersfield on Feb. 15.

 

Trenton’s Hayes Fined, Suspended

 

Trenton’s Ryan Hayes has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #473, Trenton at Reading, on Feb. 13.

 

Hayes is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Hayes will miss Trenton’s games at Elmira on Feb. 16 and Feb. 18.
