ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

 
Florida’s Paquet Fined, Suspended
 

Florida’s Phil Paquet has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #252, Florida at South Carolina, on Dec. 19.

 

Paquet was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule #43.5 – Checking from Behind at 13:30 of the second period.

 

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Paquet will miss Florida’s games against Gwinnett on Dec. 21 and Dec. 22.

 

 

Idaho’s Mouillierat Fined, Suspended

 

Idaho’s Kael Mouillierat has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #251, Idaho at Las Vegas, on Dec. 19.

 

Mouillierat was assessed a match penalty for Deliberate Attempt to Injure at 8:59 of the second period. He is suspended for one game as a result of the match penalty.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Mouillierat will miss Idaho’s game at Utah on Dec. 21.
