Kevin Kaminski is in his second season as Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations for Long Beach. The 34-year-old Kaminski joined the Ice Dogs after two seasons as an assistant coach with Cincinnati of the American Hockey League. Selected in the third round (48th overall) by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, Kaminski played parts of seven seasons in the National Hockey League with Minnesota, Quebec and Washington during an 11-year professional career. A native of Churchbridge, Saskatchewan, Kaminski helped Portland win the 1995 AHL title and was inducted into the Piratesí Hall of Fame in 2000. Kaminski and his wife, Megan, have three daughters.
