ECHL Mourns Loss Of Masson

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL and its member teams mourn the loss and express their condolences to the family and friends of former ECHL goaltender Dale Masson, who died on Saturday at the age of 36 while participating in the Kananaskis 100-kilometer run, a race he had run with his law firm associates since 2005. He is survived by his wife, Tanya, and his two sons, two-year-old Wyatt and two-month-old Sam.

Masson played in the ECHL as a rookie in 1999-2000 and was 9-9-1 with a shutout and a goals-against average of 3.48 in 19 games for Pensacola.

There will be a memorial service on Friday at 3 p.m. at McInnis & Holloway Park Memorial Chapel in Calgary, Alberta and condolences can be forwarded through McInnisandHolloway.com.
