Wheeling Nailers (18-17-0) at Brampton Beast (11-21-2)                      2 p.m. ET  

·      Wheeling’s Tyler Murovich is tied for second with four shorthanded points (2g-2a).

·      Chad Painchaud leads Brampton with 29 points (8g-21a).

·      Nailers are tied for third with seven shorthanded goals.

·      Beast are 7-0-0 when leading after two periods.  

 

Toledo Walleye (24-5-5) at South Carolina Stingrays (17-13-7)            3:05 p.m. ET  

·      Toledo’s Tyler Barnes leads rookies with 38 points (13g-25a).

·      South Carolina’s Adam Morrison leads the league with a 1.81 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage.

·      Walleye are second on the penalty kill at 88.6 percent (101-for-114).

·      Stingrays are tied for fourth with two shorthanded goals against.  

 

Kalamazoo Wings (15-15-2) at Fort Wayne Komets (27-7-3)                 5:05 p.m. ET                       

   ·      Kalamazoo’s Dane Fox is on a four-game goal streak since Jan. 2 (6g).

·      Fort Wayne’s Mike Embach is fourth with 40 points (15g-25a).

·      K-Wings are first on the power play on the road at 24.5 percent (12-for-49).

·      Komets are 18-2-2 when scoring first.  

 

Rapid City Rush (16-20-2) at Quad City Mallards (17-13-6)                    4:05 p.m. CT  

·      Rapid City’s Danny Battochio is third with 1,568 minutes played.

·      Quad City’s Joe Perry is tied for third among rookies with 16 goals.

·      Rush are 11-4-1 when scoring first.

·      Mallards are third on the penalty kill at home at 87.7 percent (64-for-73).
