Charlotte Checkers (2-0-0) at Columbia Inferno (2-0-1) 7:05 p.m. ET
* Inferno has the league’s best power play at home going 4-for-10 (40 percent).
* Checkers Jeff Glass is 1-0-0 and had 40 saves in first pro shutout with 1-0 shootout win at Gwinnett.
* Columbia went 5-3-2 against the Checkers in 2004-05 and is 16-6-4 all-time against Charlotte.
* Checkers have scored a shorthand goal in each of their games this season.

Pensacola Ice Pilots (0-2-0) at Greenville Grrrowl (1-1-0) 7:05 p.m. ET
* Brock Radunske scored a hat trick as the Grrrowl defeated Pensacola 6-2 on October 21.
* Colin Pepperall (1g-3a) and John Snowden (1g-3a) lead the Grrrowl in scoring with four points each.
* Ice Pilots are second in the league in average penalty minutes (36.5) and Grrrowl rank third (36.0).
* Pensacola plays its first road game after going 25-9-2 on the road in 2004-05.

Dayton Bombers (1-1-0) at Toledo Storm (2-1-0) 7:05 p.m. ET
* Bombers have league-high nine rookies on their roster while Toledo is second with eight.
* Teams split the first two games with each other as both teams won on home ice.
* Mike Nelson had a goal and an assist in Dayton’s 4-2 win over Toledo on October 22.
* Scooter Smith had the game-winning goal and four assists in Toledo’s 6-5 win over Dayton on October 21.

Las Vegas Wranglers (1-0-0) at Florida Everblades (0-0-0) 7:30 p.m. ET
* Everblades open their 2005-06 season at home where they went 21-9-6 in 2004-05.
* Marc Magliarditi made 34 saves in Las Vegas’ season-opening 2-1 win against Las Vegas on Tuesday.
* Florida is 3-0-0 all-time against the Wranglers.
* Las Vegas was 17-13-6 on the road in 2004-05 and is 33-29-10 all-time on the road.

Trenton Titans (1-0-0) at Johnstown Chiefs (0-2-1) 7:30 p.m. ET
* Titans went 8-2-0 in 2004-05 against the Chiefs and are 29-14-4 all-time against Johnstown.
* Chiefs have lost their last two games by one goal, including 5-4 in overtime against Toledo on Wednesday.
* Trenton captain Chris M. Thompson scored a hat trick in season-opening 5-3 win over Wheeling.
* 2005 All-Star Jean Desrochers leads the Chiefs with three points (1g-2a) in three games.

Reading Royals (1-0-0) at Wheeling Nailers (0-1-0) 7:30 p.m. ET
* Mike Pandolfo had a power-play goal and the shorthand game winner at Johnstown on October 22.
* Nailers have won their home opener the last two years and each has been by one goal.
* Royals play six of their first seven games on the road where they were 18-14-4 in 2004-05.
* Wheeling went 4-4-2 in 2004-05 against Reading and is 16-13-3 all-time against the Royals.

Augusta Lynx (2-1-0) at Gwinnett Gladiators (1-0-1) 7:35 p.m. ET
* Gladiators are tied for the league lead in penalty killing successfully killing off all 16 penalties.
* Augusta’s Brian Passmore has a goal and three assists in his first three games.
* Gwinnett went 5-4-1 in 2004-05 against Augusta and is 10-5-1 all-time against the Lynx.
* Lynx have not scored on the power play in 2005-06 going 0-for-16.

Victoria Salmon Kings (0-2-0) at Utah Grizzlies (2-2-0) 7:05 p.m. MT
* Utah’s Justin Eddy in 1-1-0 with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage.
* Victoria has not allowed a power-play goal in its first two games, killing off all 11 penalties.
* Grizzlies have five players who are averaging at least one point per game.
* Kings are 0-2-0 on eight-game road trip to open the season and have been outscored 7-4.

San Diego Gulls (1-2-0) at Phoenix RoadRunners (1-2-0) 7:11 p.m. PT
* Gulls scored three unanswered goals for 3-1 win at Alaska on Monday.
* RoadRunners’ Cory Pecker has seven points (4g-3a) in the first three games.
* Tyler Weiman stopped 34 of 35 shots to give San Diego its first win of 2005-06 on Monday.
* Mathieu Chouinard stopped 42 of 44 shots in Phoenix’s 4-2 win at Utah on opening night.

Fresno Falcons (2-0-0) at Long Beach Ice Dogs (0-3-0) 7:30 p.m. PT
* Fresno’s Brett Jaeger is 1-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .968 save percentage.
* Ice Dogs look for their first win in their home opener after going 21-11-4 at home in 2004-05.
* Falcons have 11 players who have scored a point in their first two games.
* Long Beach went 7-1-1 in 2004-05 against the Falcons and is 12-5-1 all-time against Fresno.

Bakersfield Condors (1-0-0) at Alaska Aces (2-1-0) 7:15 p.m. AT
* Last met in a decisive Game 5 of West Division Semifinals, won 6-2 by Aces, in 2005 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
* Mike Scott (2g-1a) and Barrett Heisten (2g-1a) lead Alaska in scoring with three points each.
* Kevin Kotyluk had three assists and 16 penalty minutes in Condors’ 5-3 win over Victoria on October 22.
* Bakersfield went 4-2-1 in 2004-05 against Alaska and is 9-6-2 all-time against the Aces.
