Edwardson, Pardy Return To Las Vegas From AHL

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that center Derek Edwardson has been returned from the American Hockey League by the Portland Pirates and that the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Adam Pardy from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights to the Wranglers.

The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Flames of the NHL and the Knights of the AHL.

Selected in the sixth round (173rd overall) by Calgary in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Flames, the 21-year-old Pardy has 11 points (1g-10a) and 55 penalty minutes in 37 games with Las Vegas and 12 penalty minutes in 15 games with Omaha.

The 24-year-old Edwardson has 38 points (15g-23a) and 36 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Wranglers.
