Elmira's Gazley named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Dustin Gazley of the Elmira Jackals is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Jan. 2-8.

The 23-year-old forward scored three goals, added three assists and was a +3 last week as the Jackals went 3-0-0 to extend their team record winning streak to nine games. Elmira leads the Eastern Conference with an overall record of 23-11-0 for 46 points.

Gazley scored a goal in a 3-2 win against South Carolina on Friday and then tallied a career-high four points (1g-3a) in a 4-1 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday. He ended the week with a goal in a 4-3 shootout win against the Cyclones on Sunday.
