Everblades Add Pair
To Hockey Staff

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that Steve Passineau and Tim White have been hired by the club as the equipment manager and athletic trainer respectively.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers and Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Passineau joins the Everblades after spending the past four seasons as the assistant equipment manager with the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League. Passineau’s experience also includes time as the head equipment manager of the Albany Firebirds of the Arena Football 2 league from 2008-09. Passineau first worked with the River Rats from 2003-2006 while attending Hudson Valley Community College as the locker room attendant.

White joins the Everblades after spending the last two years on the training staff at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. While with the Bobcats, the St. Paul, Minnesota native served as the athletic trainer for the men’s soccer, lacrosse and hockey teams. In January of 2010, White also worked with U.S. Women’s hockey team prior to Olympics. White, who earned his master’s degree in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in psychosocial aspects of sport at the University of Utah, worked with the school’s football and volleyball teams before joining Quinnipiac University.
