Everblades Add Two More

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that forwards Mathieu Roy and Brennan Sarazin have signed contracts for the 2010-11 season, making them the fifth and sixth players signed by the Everblades for the upcoming season. Roy returns for his third season with the Everblades. Last season the 23-year-old posted 26 points (13g, 13a) and 83 penalty minutes in 51 games with Florida. Two seasons ago Roy put together his best professional season notching a career high in goals (22), points (46) and PIM (119) in 69 games with the Everblades. The Amos, Quebec native also saw action in two games at the American Hockey League level in 2008-09 with Rochester and Albany, recording one assist.

Sarazin comes to the Everblades after spending the 2009-10 season in France with Strasbourg where he tallied 18 points (7g, 11a) and 44 penalty minutes in 26 games. The 26-year-old was teammates at Strasbourg with Bobby Raymond who signed with the Everblades earlier this off-season.
