Everblades Make Roster Moves

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that defenseman Ed Snetsinger has signed a contract with the team and that forward Francis Lemieux has been re-assigned to the club by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

 

Snetsinger joins the team after beginning the 2010-11 season with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL and the Augusta Riverhawks of the Southern Professional Hockey League.  The 24-year-old opened his rookie campaign by skating in a pair of games with the Grizzlies where he notched one assist.  Most recently the Ajax, Ontario native has skated in 13 games with the Riverhawks recording 12 points (4g-8a).

 

Prior to joining the professional ranks this season Snetsinger spent four years playing at the collegiate level in Canada at the University of Toronto.  The 6-foot, 190 pound blue-liner notched 101 points (25g-76a) in 107 career games with the Varsity Blues from 2006-10.

 

 

Lemieux returns to the Everblades after skating in two games with Manitoba at Oklahoma City and San Antonio.  He returns to the Everblades line-up as the third ranked scorer in the ECHL with 31 points (10g-21a) in 25 games.
