Everblades’ Meyer Called Up To Rochester

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that center Stefan Meyer has been called up to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL.

Selected in the second round (55th overall) by the Panthers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Meyer played the last four years in the Western Hockey League with Medicine Hat where he had 246 points (123g-123a) in 282 regular season games and 29 points (12g-17a) in 43 playoff games.
