Everblades Receive Dyment, Zancanaro From Albany

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that rookie left wing Brad Zancanaro and defenseman Chris Dyment have been assigned from the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the River Rats of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (97th overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 27-year-old Dyment has four penalty minutes in six games with Albany. He has played the last four seasons in the AHL where he has 25 points (10g-15a) and 255 penalty minutes in 162 regular season games and one assist and 12 penalty minutes in 27 playoff games with Houston, Providence and Springfield.

In his first full professional season, the 24-year-old Zancanaro has four penalty minutes in seven games with Albany.
