Everblades Receive Swanson From AHL
Bellissimo Reassigned To Lowell

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that defenseman Jeremy Swanson has been reassigned to the team from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League and that the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Vince Bellissimo to the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the NHL and the Lock Monsters of the AHL.

Selected in the sixth round (169th overall) by Florida in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Panthers, the 21-year-old Swanson has one assist and two penalty minutes in two games with the Everblades and 23 penalty minutes in 11 games with Rochester.

Selected in the fifth round (158th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Hurricanes, the 23-year-old Bellissimo has two points (1g-1a) in two games with the Everblades and 14 points (8g-6a) in 45 games with the Lock Monsters.
