Everblades Receive
Saviano, Nastiuk From Lowell

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that they have received forward Steve Saviano and rookie goaltender Kevin Nastiuk from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Lock Monsters of the AHL and the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Saviano began the season with Florida and had 14 points (5g-9a) in nine games before being called up on Nov. 22 to Lowell where he has three points (2g-1a) in 16 games.

Selected in the fourth round (126th overall) by Carolina in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and in his first professional season, the 20-year-old Nastiuk is 1-7-3 with a goals against of 3.45 and a save percentage of .887 in 11 games with Lowell.
