Everblades Sign Holden

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that they have signed goaltender Jamie Holden.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.

In his rookie season in 2005-06, the 25-year-old was 20-7-5 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.55 and a save percentage of .921 in 32 regular season games with Fresno. He helped the Falcons reach the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the first time and was 11-7 with a goals-against average of 2.57 and a save percentage of .916 as Fresno reached Game 7 of the National Conference Finals before losing in double overtime to eventual champion Alaska.
