Everblades Sign Rookie McAllister

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that they have signed rookie forward Kyle McAllister.

After completing his season at St. Thomas University in 2006-07, the 26 year old played for Fort Wayne in the United Hockey League, which ceased operations at the end of the season, and had two penalty minutes in four games with Fort Wayne.

The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound center was named St. Thomas’ Most Valuable Player in 2006-07 after finishing second on the team with a career-high 35 points (15g-20a) in 26 games.

Florida is the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.
