Everblades Trade Rudenko To Pensacola
Adams, Bellissimo Return To Florida From AHL

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that they have traded right wing Bogdan Rudenko to the Pensacola Ice Pilots in exchange for future considerations.

It was also announced that the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Vince Bellissimo from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League to the Everblades and that the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman John Adams to Florida.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the NHL and the Lock Monsters of the AHL.

Selected in the fifth round (158th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Hurricanes, the 23-year-old Bellissimo has two points (1g-1a) in three games with the Everblades and 14 points (8g-6a) in 45 games with Lowell.

Selected in the third round (82nd overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Grand Rapids, the 23-year-old Adams has 12 points (1g-11a) in 32 games with the Everblades. He has played four games with Grand Rapids and has six penalty minutes in five games with Springfield of the AHL.
