Falcons Acquire Hodson From Reading

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have acquired goaltender Jamie Hodson from the Reading Royals in exchange for financial considerations.

Selected in the third round (69th overall) by Toronto in the 1998 National Hockey League Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Hodson started against Bakersfield on Friday and made 30 saves and stopped four of five shooters in a 5-4 win.

In 2003-04, Hodson played in the ECHL with Greensboro, going 17-11-1 with a 2.70 goals-against average and finished second in the league with a .929 save percentage. He also played in the American Hockey League with St. John’s, going 3-6-1 with a goals-against average of 4.20 and a save percentage of .874.
