FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have agreed to terms with right wing Spencer Carbery.
The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League and the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
The 26 year old played in one Kelly Cup Playoff game and had four points (2g-2a) and 68 penalty minutes in 20 regular season games for Fresno in 2007-08. He was acquired by the Falcons in a Feb. 26 trade with Pensacola, which claimed him off waivers from Stockton where he had two assists and 43 penalty minutes in 20 games. Carbery began the season in Bakersfield and had six points (3g-3a) and 44 penalty minutes in 18 games before being traded to Bakersfield with defenseman Louis-Philippe Lachance in exchange for right wing Jesse Bennefield.
