Falcons’ Mather Named In Glas Co
ECHL Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Shawn Mather of the Fresno Falcons is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for Feb. 6-12.

The 25-year-old scored five goals, including a hat trick, and nine points in four games to help the Falcons go 4-0-0 and stay atop the Pacific Division at 29-8-10, nine points ahead of second-place Long Beach.

After registering two assists in a 3-2 win at Stockton on Feb. 8, the 5-foot-11 and 187-pound center scored all three goals in the Falcons 3-2 win against Stockton on Feb. 10. He scored his 100th professional goal and had three points (2g-1a) in a 5-3 win at Stockton on Feb. 11 and extended his scoring streak to four games with an assist in a 4-1 win at Stockton on Feb. 12.

Mather is tied for the league lead with six game-winning goals and he leads Fresno with 23 goals and 10 power-play goals while ranking second on the team with 45 points in 42 games.
