Falcons Raise Over $18,000 For Charities

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they raised more than $18,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Aaron Tomas Cerna Rewards/Medical Fund.

The Falcons raised more than $16,000 with a jersey auction following their game on Sunday, including bids in excess of $1,000 for the jerseys of John Wroblewski, Mike Kiesman and Shaun Sutter.

More than $1,900 was raised during Tuesday’s Tip-A-Falcon event with the monies going to Aaron Cerna, a former Junior Falcon who is paralyzed from the chest down after a drive-by shooting.
