Falcons Receive Macri From Bridgeport
Holden Called Up To Cleveland

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that rookie goaltender Jamie Holden has been called up to the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League and that the New York Islanders have assigned defenseman Vince Macri from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL to the Falcons.

The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the Barons of the AHL and the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Holden is 14-4-3 with a goals-against average of 2.60 and a save percentage of .922 in 21 games with Fresno and 5-6-0 with a goals-against average of 3.37 and a save percentage of .898 in 13 games with Cleveland.

In his second full professional season, the 24-year-old Macri has eight points (1g-7a) and 41 penalty minutes in 50 games with Bridgeport.
