Falcons Renew Affiliations
With San Jose, Cleveland

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have renewed their affiliation with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League.

The Falcons have helped develop prospects each of the past two seasons for the Sharks, who advanced to the Western Conference Finals in the 2004 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Forwards Scott Dobben and Glenn Olson and defenseman Scott Ford were assigned to Fresno in 2004-05 while goaltender Nolan Schaefer began his professional career in Fresno in 2003-04. Schaefer, who re-signed with San Jose on August 16, was 5-5-0 with one shutout, a goals-against average of 3.12 and a save percentage of .910 in 12 games with Fresno in 2003-04.
