Falcons Sign Diehl, Rohanna

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have signed rookie center Korey Diehl and defenseman Dan Rohanna.

The 21-year-old Diehl scored 73 points (35a-38a) and had 190 penalty minutes in 56 games while helping South Surrey capture both the regular season division title and the British Columbia Hockey League championship. In two seasons with South Surrey, the 5-foot-10 and 180-pound Diehl had 155 points (62g-93a) and 381 penalty minutes in 114 games.

In his first full professional season in 2004-05, the 26-year-old Rohanna had six points (5g-1a) and 47 penalty minutes in 59 games in the United Hockey League with Kansas City and Richmond and also played one game in the ECHL with Peoria.
