Falcons Sign Fregoe, Weiman

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have signed center Peter Fregoe and defenseman Shawn Weiman.

The 27-year-old Fregoe played for Hannover in Germany in 2004-05 scoring 56 points (22g-34a) in 47 games. In his rookie season in 2003-04, the 5-foot-9 and 185-pound Fregoe had 14 points (8g-6a) in 32 games with Trenton and 29 points (11g-18a) in 34 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) in five Kelly Cup Playoff games with Pensacola.

The 27-year-old Weiman had 24 points (4g-20a) in 60 games with Oklahoma City in the Central Hockey League in 2004-05. In his rookie season in 2003-04, the 6-foot-1 and 205-pound Weiman had 18 points (1g-17a) in 42 games with Augusta, three points (1g-2a) in 12 games with Cincinnati and one assist in 13 regular season games and two penalty minutes in one Kelly Cup Playoff games with Gwinnett.
