Falcons, Veteran LW Hay Agree To Terms

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have agreed to terms with veteran left wing Dwayne Hay, who has 79 games of experience in the National Hockey League.

The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks of the NHL and the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the second round (43rd overall) by the Washington Capitals in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, the 30 year old has played three seasons in the ECHL and has 142 points (66g-76a) and 144 penalty minutes in 172 regular season games and six points (3g-3a) and 10 penalty minutes in nine Kelly Cup Playoff games with Pensacola.

He played parts of four seasons in the NHL where he had six points (2g-4a) and 22 penalty minutes in 79 games with the Washington Capitals, the Florida Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Calgary Flames.
