Florida Trades Van Buskirk To Bakersfield
Albany Recalls Dyment

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that they have traded defenseman Ryan Van Buskirk to the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations.

The Everblades also announced that defenseman Chris Dyment has been recalled to the American Hockey League by the Albany River Rats.

Selected in the fourth round (97th overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and under AHL contract to Albany, the 27-year-old Dyment has 17 points (7g-10a) and 51 penalty minutes in 45 games with the Everblades and four penalty minutes in six games with Albany.

Florida is the ECHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the River Rats of the AHL.
