Florida’s McNeill Called Up To Rochester,
Kowalski Called Up To Lowell

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that defenseman Grant McNeill has been called up to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League and that goaltender Craig Kowalski has been called up to the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and the Lock Monsters of the AHL.

Selected in the third round (68th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old McNeill has one assist and 69 penalty minutes in 18 games with Florida.

The 24-year-old Kowalski has won 10 of his last 12 games and is 12-6-0 with a goals against of 2.80 in 18 games for the Everblades.
