Forwards Frazee, Beebe join Komets


Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Fort Wayne Komets announced that forwards Thomas Frazee and Brett Beebe have agreed to terms and have been added to the preseason roster.

The Komets are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche and the American Hockey League’s Lake Erie Monsters.

Frazee, 24, skated 60 games in the Central Hockey League last season with Quad City and led the Mallards with 24 goals and added 23 assists for 47 points. He added five goals and 11 points while appearing in 13 playoff games with Quad City. Frazee made his pro debut with Bakersfield during the 2011-12 season, posting four points (1g-3a) in 13 games. The North Vancouver, British Columbia native played six seasons of junior hockey in the WHL before making his collegiate debut in 2011-12 with Lakehead University of the CIS.

Beebe, 24, made his pro debut last year skating 48 games with Ontario, notching 16 points (4g-12a) before finishing the season skating two games with Bakersfield. The Redondo Beech, Calif. native started his collegiate career in 2009-10 with Western Michigan University. Beebe helped the Broncos to the 2012 CCHA tournament championship before completing his four-year college stint in 2012-13.
