Fresno Re-Signs Stefanishion
Falcons, NHL Veteran Brown Agree To Terms

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced that they have agreed to terms with veteran defenseman Brad Brown (pictured) and that they have re-signed right wing Matt Stefanishion.

The Falcons are the ECHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League and the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Mike Haviland, who is one of two coaches to lead two different teams to the Kelly Championship, and John Torchetti, who was a coach and player in the ECHL, are assistant coaches for the Blackhawks.

Selected in the first round (18th overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, the 32 year old has 29 points (2g-27a) and 747 penalty minutes in 330 regular season NHL games and 16 penalty minutes in 16 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with Buffalo, Chicago, Minnesota, Montreal and the New York Rangers.
