The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.
Llewellyn, 25, rejoins the Gladiators after a season with Rapid City of the Central Hockey League. The 6-foot-2, 209-pound defenseman first came to Gwinnett in January 2013, playing in 27 regular season and three postseason games for the eventual South Division champions. In four professional seasons, Llewellyn has totaled 66 points (12g-54a) over 193 games played. Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., Llewellyn stayed in his home town for college, playing in 126 games over four seasons with the University of Michigan.
Bidlevskii, 23, competed in 17 games for the Gladiators in 2013-14, chipping in four assists. Gwinnett acquired the native of Kelowna, British Columbia, along with Eric Springer, on Jan. 28 for Brett Lyon. This will be Bidlevskii’s third professional season, with 14 points (3g-11a) over 107 games. The 6-foot, 198-pound defenseman also played in 10 games with the American Hockey League’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers in 2010.
Frederick, 25, played in 145 games for the Golden Knights of Clarkson University, racking up 59 points (20g-39a) in four years for the team. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound forward made his professional debut for the Utah Grizzlies last season, playing in two games at the conclusion of his senior season with Clarkson. He also played in another two games with the Elmira Jackals before the end of the year.
