The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with forwards Calin Wild and Colin Vock for the 2011-12 season.
Wild spent the 2010-11 season with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League. He posted 21 points (10g-11a) in 55 games in the CHL last year. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was one of seven players to record 10-or-more goals with the Brahmas last season. Wild played four seasons at the University of Manitoba before he began his professional career. From 2006-10, he earned 44 points (25g-19a) in 111 career collegiate games.
Vock earned 37 points (15g-22a) in 45 games with Rosenborg Elite of the Norwegian GET-ligaen last year. He also had five power play goals and three game winning goals as one of just five players to appear in every game with Rosenborg. Prior to skating overseas last year, Vock played four seasons at the University of Vermont from 2006-10. The Detroit, Mich. native recorded a career best 28 points (11g-17a) in 39 games during his senior season at Vermont. In four seasons as a Catamount, he tallied 84 points (35g-49a) in 144 career collegiate games.
