Gladiators Loan Engelhardt To St. John’s

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that rookie center Brett Engelhardt has been loaned to the St. John’s Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.

In his first full professional season, Engelhardt has 14 goals which leads the Gladiators and ECHL rookies and is tied for second overall in the league. His 23 points tie him for fourth among rookies while ranking ninth in the ECHL and rank second on the Gladiators.

In 2003-04, Engelhardt scored 25 points (13g-12a) in 38 games with Michigan Tech and also played two games in the American Hockey League with the Philadelphia Phantoms.
