Gladiators Re-Sign Campbell

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have re-signed All-Star center Jeff Campbell.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

In his first full professional season in 2004-05, the 24-year-old was named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team and was also selected to the ECHL All-Star Game where he had an assist for the American Conference.

The 5-foot-9 and 170-pound Campbell tied for the team lead and ranked fourth among ECHL rookies with 30 goals while finishing second on the team and fourth among league rookies with 63 points (30g-33a) while playing all 72 regular season games for the Gladiators and added five points (2g-3a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games.
