Gladiators’ Ross Called Up To Chicago

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that center Jared Ross has been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Wolves of the AHL and the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League.

Ross played 12 games in the United Hockey League in 2004-05, scoring eight points (3g-5a) and finishing with a plus-minus rating of +7, after completing his season at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. He ranked third in the nation with 22 goals in 2004-05 and led the nation in scoring average in 2003-04 with 50 points (19g-31a) in 31 games.
