Gladiators Sign Durno, Pelletier

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed centers Chris Durno and Pascal Pelletier (pictured).The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

In two seasons with Gwinnett, the 25-year-old Durno has 102 points (40g-62a) in 134 regular season games and 19 points (12g-7a) in 21 Kelly Cup Playoff games. Durno, who attended training camp with Peoria of the American Hockey League, led the Gladiators with seven points (5g-2a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games.

Acquired from Louisiana on March 22 in exchange for center Peter Flache, the 22-year-old Pelletier had one assist in six regular season games and two assists in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Gladiators after scoring 38 points (10g-28a) in 61 games with Louisiana.
