Gladiators Sign Fields

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed goaltender Sean Fields.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 24-year-old, who was originally signed as an emergency backup goaltender, was 13-1-2 with a goals-against average of 2.48 and a save percentage of .913 in 31 games with the Gladiators.

The 6-foot and 200-pound Shields began the season with Tulsa of the Central Hockey League and was 0-4-0 with a goals-against average of 4.30 and a save percentage of .867 in five games.
